ARABIA, Southern. Saba'. 1st century AD. Quarter Unit (Silver, 16 mm, 1.28 g, 7 h), imitating Athens 'New Style'-coinage, but with Roman-style bust. Roman-style laureate head to right within wreath. Rev. Owl standing right on amphora, head facing; monograms flanking; symbol of Almaqah to lower right. Huth 295. Darkly toned. Some deposits and with minor scratces, otherwise, very fine.
